With the midterm evaluation expected to be released March 30, MEMA will lead a timely discussion on the potential implications to the supplier industry if there are major changes to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) and the vehicle greenhouse gas emission programs. We will explore impacts on supplier investment, jobs, and US innovation. Can the US remain a leader in innovation if the emissions and fuel efficiency standards are changed significantly? Can domestic industry sustain innovation, job growth and investments made since 2012?
