What is included?

Space for tenting, power access at the house, indoor washrooms, water tap access outside (not for drinking), freezer access for food/ice. Friday Bonfire and Community fire pit. Saturday Community BBQ (access to BBQ all weekend). Saturday Floatie Day Party and evening Dance Party

What do I need to bring?

Camping gear, chairs, cooler, food/drinks, bug spray/sunscreen, swim gear and floaties, musical instruments, earplugs if needed, and friends! 10 minutes to grocery store, NSLC and community diner.

Do I have to be 2SLGBTQIA+ to attend?

Although this event is geared for folks in this community, we welcome anyone who is an ally and supports the community. We reserve the right to remove anyone who is not conducive to a safe or respectful environment.

Do I have to attend the suggested agenda events?

No you are welcome to explore and enjoy the space at your own leisure. We want folks to feel comfortable in your authentic self where there is no pressure to participate in any particular event. Feel free to hike, relax in the hammocks, bring the things you need to make this weekend enjoyable.

Where is the event located?

The event is located in Upper Stewiacke, about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Halifax. The event address will be emailed to folks before the event.

Are dogs allowed?

Although we love your furry friends, to accommodate a safe environment for everyone, only service animals are allowed.

Accessibility

The event is rough camping in open field/wooded area with some areas accessible by vehicle. We also have a UTV to help move gear for folks. The house is accessible by a ramp. Please reach out if you need a more accessible area or have any questions.
