Join us for a week-long half day summer camp focused on engineering your own arcade game! Camp runs M - F, 9AM - 2PM.

Introductions & Team Building

First day introductions and get-to-know-you games with campers and staff.

Camp Kickoff

Camp Kickoff with the Leadership Team to set expectations, discuss rules, and set the tone for the week.

Arcade Project

This will be our first arcade project of the week! This activity could focus on the Engineering Design Process, game mechanics, electronics, or makerspace tools. Details to come later!

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Lunch/Park Time

Camp staff will walk campers across the street to eat lunch at the park and play. Only campers that have parental permission on their registration form will be permitted to walk to Harmony Park acros...

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Arcade Project

Clean Up/Pick Up

Camp Days: Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13

Camp Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, early drop off available at 8:30 AM.

Minimum Age: 8

Maximum Age: 15

Prerequisites: Campers should have basic gross and fine motor skills.

Summary: Going to an arcade can be SO fun, which is why we're honing our design and engineering skills to build an arcade right at Camp Innovate! Campers will learn about game mechanics, electronics and circuitry, and use makerspace materials and equipment to create their very own arcade game.
