CalTestBed Initiative Launch and Reception

The CalTestBed Initiative, sponsored by the California Energy Commission (CEC), will support clean energy entrepreneurs with $8.8 million worth of testing and validation at almost 30 testing facilities at 9 UC campuses and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in order to speed the commercialization and deployment of innovative clean energy technologies.

It is an ambitious effort to develop the largest clean energy testbed ecosystem in the world.The CalTestBed Launch and Reception is a high-profile event featuring distinguished speakers and a stakeholder panel, followed by a celebratory reception. Invitees will include prestigious, nationally recognized business leaders, scientists and academics from research facilities and accelerators throughout the state, entrepreneurs, California state policy makers and political figures.
