Nature-Based Wellbeing Sessions – Calm in the Wild (Free – Booking Essential)
📍 Woodville Forest Garden, Keighley
🕙 Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00–12:30
Calm in the Wild CIC invites you to join a series of relaxed, neurodiverse-friendly outdoor sessions, designed to gently support emotional wellbeing through time in nature.
These sessions are adult-only - they’re designed as a space just for parents/carers and neurodivergent adults to have time for themselves.
We know how hard it can be to step away from caring responsibilities, but these sessions are designed to give you that rare space to pause and recharge.
The free sessions are especially for:
🌿 Parents and carers of children with additional needs
🌿 Adults identifying as neurodivergent
🌿 Anyone in need of a little quiet and connection
Each session includes:
🍃 A simple, nature-based therapeutic activity
🎨 Gentle outdoor craft or sensory practice
🔥 Optional campfire snack (weather and site-dependent)
☕ Hot drinks, calm space, no pressure
Come to one session or as many as you like — just book ahead, as numbers are kept small to stay supportive and gentle.
These are drop-in sessions, but booking is essential.
All activities are completely optional, and the space is welcoming, accessible and low-pressure.
Do make sure you dress for the weather - this is Yorkshire, after all!
