Calling in the Summer Version of You

A confidence-building retreat for sober women and non-binary folks

Sunday, May 18, 2025 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Jackson Bottom Wetlands Nature Center in Hillsboro, OR

You didn’t get sober just to survive.

You got sober to live fully. Boldly. Authentically.

But even after a few months—or years—of alcohol-free living, you may find yourself:

  • Holding back in social situations
  • Second-guessing your desires
  • Feeling like you’re missing something, but not sure what

You’re not broken. You’re becoming.

And this retreat is here to help you move into summer grounded, lit up, and reconnected to your own spark.

What to Expect

A half-day retreat of creativity, connection, and reconnection—with yourself and nature.

From the moment you step into this peaceful, light-filled event space—with large windows, a giant covered patio, and surrounded by vibrant green—you’ll feel your nervous system exhale.

Throughout the experience, you’ll:

  • Sip a delicious non-alcoholic mocktail
  • Connect with others through guided conversation and playful games
  • Reflect through journaling, visioning, and gentle meditation
  • Walk in nature and open to insight from something greater
  • Cast light on fears, and plant seeds of confidence for the months ahead

This is not a lecture. It’s a fully immersive experience designed to shift energy, clear mental clutter, and guide your unconscious mind toward possibility.

Walk Away With:

  • Tools to calm your inner critic
  • A felt sense of groundedness in your body
  • Reconnection to your inner voice
  • A clear intention for your summer
  • And a heart full of connection, joy, and creative momentum

What Makes This Different?

  • Everyone here gets it. You don’t have to explain yourself.
  • You don’t need to be good at small talk or pretend to be okay.
  • We create the safety for you to show up exactly as you are.
  • It’s intentionally designed and facilitated by Naomi Veak, a credentialed transformational nature-connected life coach, certified social health facilitator, and sober since 2018.

Who This Is For

Sober women and non-binary folks—especially in their first few years of alcohol-free living—who are ready to feel more:

  • Connected
  • Resilient
  • Confident
  • Inspired
  • And deeply themselves

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be super social or already confident to come?

Nope! Come as you are. There will be gentle support throughout the day to help you feel at ease. I've worked with hundreds of sober individuals, including those who are only a few weeks in, and I understand the courage it takes to show up!

What if I don't know anyone?

Then you're in good company-- most people won't! This is a friendly space where everyone's showing up with a similar intention: to grow, to connect, and to feel more like their true selves.

Is this for people in recovery programs?

This gathering is not related to any particular recovery program, and is open to any female/non-binary person who identifies as sober or on a sober journey-- whatever path brought you here.

What if I'm not completely sober, but I'm working on it?

You are welcome to join-- I'm sure this will help!
