Cal Poly Black Alumni Community — Men's Basketball Pregame Mixer in Davis

The Cal Poly Black Alumni Community is coming together Saturday, Feb. 7, starting at noon for another Black Heritage Month activity with a special pregame mixer at Burgers and Brew, 403 3rd St., Davis, CA 95616.

Bust out your green and gold and mix and mingle with fellow alumni during this casual reception. Guests also will have the chance to meet volunteer leaders from the Cal Poly Black Alumni Community. Do not forget to pick up some swag before the Cal Poly men’s basketball game against UC Davis.

After the social, head over to University Credit Union Center (750 Orchard Rd, Davis, CA 95616) to cheer on the Mustangs as they face the Aggies. The community is ready to show up and show out for the team.

Here's how ticketing works:

• Noon-1:30 p.m., Pre-game Alumni Social: Guests interested in attending the pre-game mixer can register here on Eventbrite. The event is FREE to attend. Food and beverages are available for purchase. We ask that you RSVP by Monday, Feb. 2 so we have an accurate count for swag. This all-ages event is open to all Cal Poly alumni and supporters.university

• 2 p.m., Cal Poly vs. UC Davis Men's Basketball Game: Tickets must be purchased directly from the host university. Visit the UC Davis Athletics site to purchase tickets. We are encouraging folks to select tickets in sections 111 ($40) or 211 ($10). This event is open to all alumni and the Cal Poly community.
