What kind of cake should I bring?

That's up to you! But no cupcakes. If you're unable to bake your cake, purchasing one from a local bakery is ok. NOTE: all cakes must be bigger than 6 inches wide and 3 inches tall! What do I need to bring besides a cake?

A good attitude, a note card with ingredients listed, and a platter/plate/tray for your cake to rest on

What should be on my notecard that I bring with the cake?

Accepted Answer

Cake title and major allergens! For example: Chocolate hazelnut cake [dairy, nuts, wheat, milk, eggs]. Please tape/attach the notecard to the cake platter/tray/dish that the cake is on.

What if I have allergies?

This is NOT an allergy-friendly event. Every cake will have a notecard of ingredients, but cakes are made with flour, eggs, milk, etc. Eat at your own risk!

What do you recommend for transportation?

Parking will be limited! There's a small lot connected to Old Stove (at the back) and some street parking. Please take public transportation or Uber/Lyft. I would highly recommend getting dropped off at the event so you don’t need to worry about parking.
