About this event

This is a five-day camp from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM for children ages 9-14. This course provides an in-depth introduction to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for 3D printing. Students will learn how to create, modify, and optimize 3D models for additive manufacturing technologies. The course covers essential CAD techniques, parametric modeling, file preparation, and common pitfalls in 3D printing design. Hands-on projects will allow students to develop practical skills in designing functional models ready for successful 3D printing. Students will utilize OpenSCAD, a programming based CAD program and OnShape, a cloud based professional CAD tool. All student creations will, of course, be theirs to take home.
