Cacao & Conversations
Overview
Cacao & Connection
Join Connie and Heather each month for a soulful evening exploring yoga beyond the mat, weaving together meditation, movement, ceremonial cacao, and open-hearted conversation.
This month's gathering is centred on the yogic teaching of non-harm (Ahimsa), exploring its embodiment, tradition, and how it might resonate in our own lives today.
What to expect:
- Guided meditation to ground and centre
- A mindful movement practice (exploring the idea of letting go)
- Ceremonial cacao to open the heart
- Casual group conversation (share as much or as little as feels right to you!)
- Gentle journaling to integrate the experience
Schedule:
- 6.30 - 7.30 pm – Meditation & Movement
- 7.30 - 8.30 pm – Cacao Ceremony & Conversation
- 8.30 - 9.00 pm - Closing & Journaling
Light refreshments will be provided.
What to Bring:
- Comfy clothes (PJs and slippers welcome!)
- Your favourite mug
- A journal
Please let us know:
1) Any dietary requirements
2) Any triggering topics you'd like us to steer the conversation away from.
3) Anything else you need for us to make this a safe, welcoming, and cosy space for you (figet toys, sensory considerations, etc.)
