Take a moment to unwind and reconnect with your inner self in this nourishing and creative workshop. We’ll begin by sipping a cup of artisanal cacao, lovingly crafted by a small cooperative in Peru. This helps to open the heart and awaken the senses. From there, we'll ease into a soothing, guided journey designed to deepen your soul connection and bring clarity.

Next, let your creativity bloom as we dive into intuitive botanical art supported and inspired by sacred gardens and powerful mountains that surround us. Gift yourself with time to BE in a gorgeous setting and to express your inner world through colors, textures, and natural forms. You may be surprised at what emerges.

No experience needed. This art is for you, not the living room wall! Just bring your open heart and curiosity!

Whether you're new to art, looking for a fresh outlet, or for an active meditative experience-- this is your space to let growth within you blossom into an outer expression of your soul’s voice.

All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own creative tools if you'd like. Come, create, and let your heART shine from the inside out!

You’ll be held in a space of non-judgment, reflection, and grounded support. No need to “do” anything. No dogma. Just show up.

Where can I find out more about cacao?

There is lots of info on my website about cacao: www.encircles.us/ceremonies. For now I'm using cacao I've hand curated (and hand-carried back to the US from Peru and Costa Rica) for my ceremonies. It's small-batch, artisanal much from cooperatives or small, family farms.

Are there any contraindications or side effects to be aware of?

Can I participate and get benefits from the ceremony without drinking cacao?

Yes! You are guided on a deep experiential journey that is deep and powerful. While cacao properties work with your body physiologically, in our sacred space even without ingesting, Mama Cacao and the 9 Cacao Aunties that work through Joan, will be working with you as allies in growth in healing.

Is cacao a plant medicine?

Yes it is! It has powerful energies that help us feel good, find clarity, go within and help in our feeling a sense of wholeness, but it’s not psychedelic.

Do I need to be an artist or a creative type to participate?

Not at all! We're working on a deep inner level and the art is an expression of what wants to come through. This is art for YOU.

Should I bring art supplies?

If you have some art supplies or a favorite medium that you work with, feel free to bring it. I'll supply watercolor paint and brushes, paper, crayons, pencils, markers.
