Build it yourself! In part two of this series, you will learn how to construct a small scale drawer box sized to fit in the cabinet box from our cabinet box class. Take the whole series of classes and you will be ready to make all the cabinets for your projects in your specific dimensions at a fraction of the cost of buying custom. Or take just one class and make needed repairs or to upgrade your existing project. Check out additional classes in our cabinet construction class series to learn cabinet box and door frame construction as well as attaching tops and installation tips. Class size is limited for individualized attention. You do not need to commit to all the classes in this series and may take just the ones that you are most interested in.

Frequently asked questions

Are there any age restrictions for this class?

This class requires the use of power tools, which requires the attendee to be 14 years or older. Attendees below 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class. If a parent or legal guardian is required to attend, only 1 ticket is required.

Do I need any safety equipment or special clothing?

Safety glasses or face shields, hearing protection, gloves, and dust respirators will be provided free of charge as needed. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves should be rolled up, long hair should be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes.

I'm interested in a class that is not scheduled, do you offer custom classes based on my interests?

If you are interested in a private class, custom class tailored to your specific needs, or a special group class, please call your local store and speak directly to a Manager. We'll do our very best to meet your requirements while providing a great experience.
