About this event
This 4-hour intensive class is the second in our three-part cabinet making series, but can also be taken individually. You'll gain essential skills in crafting the visible elements of cabinetry, focusing on face frames and doors. In this class, you will learn to:
- Build sturdy and accurate face frames: Discover the techniques for constructing the foundational front structure of your cabinets.
- Mount, size, and fabricate raised panel doors: Master the art of creating elegant raised panel doors, a hallmark of fine cabinetry. We'll cover precise measurements and assembly.
- Explore options for drawer faces: Understand the various styles and construction methods for creating aesthetically pleasing drawer fronts. By the end of this hands-on class, you will have successfully completed a raised or flat panel door and a face frame, precisely sized to fit an 18" base cabinet carcass. You can then use these components to finish your cabinet independently or continue your journey with us in Part 3 for comprehensive drawer construction. All participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Consider 1 on 1 private instruction. Learn exactly what you need at your own pace: that's what 1-on-1 private instruction is all about. We also offer group classes for up to 12 students for corporate / office team building events or just fun with friends. Contact the store for more details at (913) 815-2002.
