Parking at the Civic Center Ramp, located next to the Rochester Public Library, is free for the first hour and free after 5 p.m. on weekdays. For longer stays, the ramp charges $3 for 1-1.5 hours, $1 for each additional 30 minutes, and a maximum of $16 for 12-24 hours.

About this event

In this address, Dr. Amit Sood will share the neuroscience and psychology of stress. Based on that understanding, participants will learn approaches to add uplifting and energizing moments during the day. The session will also share a longer-term plan for building resilience.

Dr. Sood will draw from his experience as CEO of Global Center for Resiliency and Wellbeing, former professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic, creator of Resilient Option Program, and author of “It Takes You to Tango” and “SMART with Dr. Sood”.

The Office of the Mayor - Rochester, MN is graciously sponsoring the keynote event as part of the Year About Youth (#YAY), a citywide initiative highlighting youth development, engagement, and opportunities.
