Rain cuts through the neon-lit haze of San Francisco, 2225, washing grime from skyscrapers into alleys in the long-forgotten Skid District. Here, desperation festers behind rusted retaining walls, ignored by those in power and haunted by whispers of shadowy puppet-masters, hidden caches of precious Isolated Hydrogen, and forbidden technology secreted deep underground. Every Skidizen carries the mark of Basic Tek, implanted in their bodies at birth, but in these streets, true power lies in the C-Tek enhancements — tools of dominance, subterfuge, or deadly force. Trust is scarce, alliances are fragile, and survival is the only rule.

What is LARP?

Live Action Role-Playing is a collaborative storytelling game where you physically portray a character. Imagine the mid-point between Dungeons & Dragons, improv theater, and paintball. It's an opportunity to put on a costume, pretend to be someone else, and experience some thrills in a safe space.

Will every event be the same? Should I come to more than one?

Our story is episodic. Each game builds on the story from the previous event. Your character will grow and become more powerful with new abilities as well. You'll need to join us for all 3 if you want to be part of the whole story, but we think you'll have a great time even if you only come to one.

Do I need to submit my character in advance?

Please submit your character to our database at least one week before our event. We'll send you the link by early June. If you have questions or need help, please join our community Discord server and we'll be happy to assist you.

What if I'm not interested in NERF combat?

Anyone can pick up a blaster, but only one of our professions is primarily combat-focused. There's plenty to do in The Skid. From roleplay to resource-gathering. From politics to crime. From investigation to economics. Come immerse yourself in the dark future of the year 2225.

What do I need to bring?

The short answer is bring your character costume, your smartphone, some eye protection, and a NERF blaster, if you choose. We have a much more detailed explanation of what to bring and what to leave at home on our website.
