About this event

Join the Boston Women’s Workforce Council (BWWC) for our 11th annual Effective Practices Conference, an essential gathering for advancing wage equity in the workplace. This year marks the Council’s sixth data collection effort—a first-in-the-nation approach that anonymously collects and aggregates payroll data to provide a community snapshot of the progress made to close gender and racial wage gaps in Greater Boston. This work would not be possible without the partnership of our 200+ Compact Signers, who have pledged to take steps toward eliminating the gaps and sharing their data.

The Conference will include:

  • The findings from our 2025 Gender and Racial Wage Gap Program
  • Remarks from Mayor Wu
  • A keynote address from Lauren Jones, Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development
  • A panel discussion focused on what our results mean for Greater Boston employers
  • Breakfast and networking

The Effective Practices Conference is free of charge to 100% Talent Compact Signer employers. Paid tickets are available for the general public. Space is limited.
