We will identify and record each butterfly we see to establish a baseline of the butterfly community. We will use the data generated to determine how the butterfly population changes as we engage in ecological restoration activities. No experience is necessary. We will offer a brief overview of butterfly biology and identification and teach you how to follow a standard sampling methodology to establish our baseline count.
