What do I need to do before the class?

Nothing! Just show up and we will walk you through all of the instructions, species of wood, joinery, and the small details on your piece.

What do we do in the class?

One of our instructors will begin by walking you through the machining and labor that went into the lumber we provide. They will discuss the different species of wood, and allow you to select the lumber for your project. A little bit of sanding, and attention to joinery, and then you will be gluing

We know what you're thinking... beer... power tools. I don't want to lose a finger! In this brief class, we pre-process all materials. Class members are assembling the pieces, gluing, sanding, and finishing. No power tools are used in the session by any of the class participants. Our goal is to give

It varies from space to space, but for this event sadly beer is not included :/ But that does mean you have robust selection to try over the course of the night. Burnt Mills does offer flights!! WOO!
