Built to Lead: Women in Trades event
Are you a grade 7–12 student curious about a future in the skilled trades? Join us at Built to Lead, an interactive drop-in event designed to inspire and empower the next generation of trades professionals.
This event is presented in partnership with the Nuclear Innovation Institute, Bluewater District School Board, and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, and proudly sponsored by Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW).
At this hands-on event, you will:
- Explore exciting career opportunities in the trades
- Connect with inspiring professionals who are building their careers locally
- Discover employer supports, community organizations, and training centres
- Experience hands-on activities to learn about the skilled trades

🕠 Time: 5:30 – 7:30 PM
📍 Location: NII Advance Technology Campus, 117 Farrell Drive, Tiverton, ON (near the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre)
Special Feature: Tradeswomen Panel (6:15 – 6:45 PM) – hear directly from local women thriving in the trades.
This event is open to grade 7–12 students from Bluewater District School Board and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board.
