Built to Lead: Women in Trades event

Are you a grade 7–12 student curious about a future in the skilled trades? Join us at Built to Lead, an interactive drop-in event designed to inspire and empower the next generation of trades professionals.

This event is presented in partnership with the Nuclear Innovation Institute, Bluewater District School Board, and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, and proudly sponsored by Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW).

At this hands-on event, you will:

  • Explore exciting career opportunities in the trades
  • Connect with inspiring professionals who are building their careers locally
  • Discover employer supports, community organizations, and training centres
  • Experience hands-on activities to learn about the skilled trades

Special Feature: Tradeswomen Panel (6:15 – 6:45 PM) – hear directly from local women thriving in the trades.
