About the Presenter:





Tara Hobbs

Tara Hobbs is a Securities Compliance Examiner in NYRO’s IA/IC Examinations program. Tara began her career at the SEC in 1992 conducting examinations of investment companies. From 1996 to 2001 she was a consultant in PwC’s regulatory group where she spent time in New York and London. She went on to hold various in-house positions with Prudential, New York Life and Invesco where she served as Chief Compliance Officer of fixed income and senior loan divisions of those companies. After 25 years in private industry, Tara rejoined the SEC in May 2021.
