- What "early career" means, and the common challenges faced
- The importance of excelling in your current job and seeking opportunities for skill development
- Self-assessment to identify your professional interests, preferences, values, and goals
- How to build relationships with colleagues and managers
- How to use passion projects or certifications to build a unique skill set outside of their current role
Led by mentor and advisor Jeffrey Liss, this session will equip you with information to build a strong base for your career.

Jeffrey Liss is a seasoned transformational leader with a 30-year career spanning digital experience, business transformation, and customer insights. Now, as the Chief Mentor for Early Career Path Advisors, he applies his extensive corporate experience to guide individuals in the first ten years of their career. His distinguished career includes executive roles at major corporations like Henry Schein, Inc., KPMG, and Ascena Retail Group. At Henry Schein, he served as a Vice President, leading customer-impacting projects and served as a subject matter expert on Operating Model Design for IT and Global Data. As a Director at KPMG, he led global e-commerce transformation programs for several multi-billion dollar companies. He also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Fullbeauty Brands, where he managed an $800M annual revenue and oversaw digital marketing, UX, and product management. With a focus on helping others succeed, Jeff is a former adjunct professor of Digital Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology and a former member of the Digital Council for the National Retail Federation. He has also been a featured speaker at events for the National Retail Federation and Shop.org. As a trusted advisor, Jeff draws on a unique blend of business acumen and a passion for mentorship. He combines a deep understanding of corporate strategy with practical insights, making him an ideal guide for those looking to build a strong foundation and navigate the complexities of their early career.
