Network with program alumni and members of our campus and Athens community, and hear Dr. Bea Brown share her own startup story revealing the team-building skills, valuable insights, and lessons she learned in developing an organizational culture that can increase your chances of success in both domestic and global markets.

We are located at the Delta Innovation Hub, 210 Spring St, Athens, GA, 30602. The easiest place to park would be the North Campus Parking Deck. You can walk directly to the Innovation Hub from the Floor B exit of the parking deck.

Dr. Beatrice Brown

Bea retired from the University of Arizona where she taught biotechnology. After significant medical research at Temple University School of Medicine, she played major roles in three startups that produced cancer diagnostics using monoclonal antibody technology and instrumentation development.

Later, she shifted her focus towards wellness with a graduate certificate in Controlled Agriculture and Greenhouse Management. Currently, she enjoys her retirement as a textile artist and conducts workshops using sustainable natural dyes.
