Building Stronger College and Career Pathways – A Working Session for CTE Leaders
Join fellow curriculum directors, CTE chairs, and counselors for a half-day, hands-on workshop focused on advancing College and Career Pathway Endorsements (CCPE). Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves to align your school’s course offerings with ISBE’s pathway expectations, starting with what you already have in place and identifying the local course titles that fulfill each requirement.
This is more than just a compliance check. It's an opportunity to uncover gaps, explore creative solutions, and brainstorm ways to enhance your pathways with additional courses. Whether those courses are offered at your high school or through your local career center, we’ll work collaboratively to map out options that make CCPE more attainable, and more meaningful, for your students. We’ll also explore how to maximize dual credit opportunities, giving students a clearer, faster route from high school to college while maintaining flexibility.
Bring your course catalogs, your questions, and your curiosity. Let’s build stronger pathways, together!
