Free Emergency Preparedness Workshop Building Resilience for community, voluntary and faith communities in Hillingdon.Welcome to the Hillingdon Community Resilience Workshop!
Join us at Christ Church for an afternoon of activities, discussions and networking. This workshop is designed to help you build resilience in your community through an interactive session on dealing with a water supply disruption in your local community.
Meet like-minded individuals from the community, voluntary and faith sector and experts in the field to exchange ideas and strategies about how to engage communities in responding to emergencies. Don't miss this opportunity to strengthen your community and make a difference. Enjoy refreshments with a difference. See you there!
This project is being delivered in partnership with the Hillingdon Council’s Resilience and Emergency Planning Team and is supported by the GLA.
Its aim is to help local community groups across Hillingdon to feel more prepared in the event of emergencies or major incidents – whether related to extreme weather, power outages, public health issues, or other disruptions.
As part of this initiative, HFCA AND H4All are offering free interactive workshops to help community, voluntary and faith communities:
- Understand local risks e.g. disruption of water supply
- Learn how to respond effectively e.g. volunteering
- Build confidence in supporting each other and their wider community
This workshop will include a mix of discussion, activities, and practical information.
Refreshments with a difference will be provided.
Please contact H4All at community@h4all.org.uk if you have any questions.
Sign up today and a briefing pack will be sent to you with information about the exercise.
The event will take place in Hayes & Harlington Community Centre and free parking is available for visitors.
