Join Vermont Public for a live recording of Vermont Edition. Host Mikaela Lefrak will talk with organizers and small business owners to hear how they foster community through LGBTQ-centered events and local support. Guests include the owners of Fox Market and Bar in East Montpelier, and Foxy's and Slow Poke Exchange, both in Barre, and organizers with the VT Queer Craft in Central Vermont.


After the conversation, you’re invited to stay for a mixer to meet new folks and start building community!


Doors and cash bar open: 6:00 p.m.

Vermont Edition conversation begins: 6:30 p.m.

Mixer begins: 7:30 p.m.

Event ends: 8:00 p.m.

Directions and Parking

Barre Social Club is located at 105 N Main St #102 Barre, VT 05641. Free parking is available behind the Barre Social Club. Driving north on N. Main Street, turn right onto Keith Ave and a large parking lot will be on your right. Driving south on N. Main Street, turn left onto West Street, right onto Summer Street, then right on to Keith Ave. The lot will be on your left just before N. Main Street.

From the parking lot, you may enter the Barre Social Club by using the door on the left side of the building under the black awning or walking around to N. Main Street and entering through the front door

There is also metered street parking on N. Main Street. If you park there you may enter through the front door.
