Description

Please join America Forward and The LEGO Foundation for an event on Thursday, June 27th exploring how rigor and play together produce the high-quality early learning environments that drive achievement, and highlighting innovative practices and policies that yield meaningful outcomes for children throughout their lives.

This lunch event will illustrate the importance of teaching the whole childto encourage social, emotional and creative excellence alongside traditional academic achievement – and will dive into the science of brain development to help explain exactly how children learn. You will hear from early childhood research, policy, and practice experts and there will be a very special LEGO play activity that will demonstrate the critical value of hands-on engagement for people of all ages.

Space is limited. Doors open and lunch available at 11:30 am; the event will begin at 12 pm. RSVP is required.
