OUR NEXT GUEST SPEAKER AND TOPIC:
Building Lasting Impact: The Servant Leaders approach to Authentic Connections
with: Ben Nicholas
True influence isn’t built on quick exchanges or short-term networking—it’s built on authentic, lasting relationships. In this session,
Ben Nicholas will share the positive impact of becoming a life-long connector: how shifting from “collecting contacts” to cultivating genuine connections transforms careers, strengthens communities, and opens doors to purpose-driven leadership. Attendees will leave with practical ways to lead with generosity, build meaningful networks, and invest in relationships that last a lifetime.
Ben Nicholas is the Founder of Servant Leaders in Training and serves as a Strategic Growth Leader at Bethany in Bloomington, MN. With a career spanning small business, corporate leadership, technology consulting, and the nonprofit sector, Ben has one consistent mission: to develop and equip people to thrive in living out their calling.
At Bethany, he leads donor engagement and growth initiatives, managing over 300 relationships, chairing Bethany’s largest fundraising event, and co-founding the Excellence in Leadership event, which introduces 70+ new business leaders to Bethany’s mission each quarter. Through these efforts, he is advancing Bethany’s mission of equipping and sending intercultural disciple makers to bring kingdom transformation to the nations and equipping leaders to create lasting impact.
As the founder of Servant Leaders in Training, Ben equips men to lead with purpose through mentorship, service, coaching, and intentional growth. His initiatives have mobilized over 400 volunteers to serve nonprofits each year and created a thriving peer community of leaders who align their mission, time, and resources with what truly matters.
Known as a connector, Ben helps leaders—from recent graduates to seasoned executives—build authentic networks and overcome limiting mindsets so they can live generously and lead with a servant’s heart. Grounded in faith, wisdom, and a commitment to lifelong learning, Ben’s leadership philosophy is simple yet powerful: true leadership is about serving first and leading second.
...then stay after the presentation, at 9am for the Networking With Grace Meeting and our MICRO JOB FAIR and "FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS DURING JOB TRANSITION" Q&A at 10:45!
