An interactive series for Peer Recovery Organization Directors and other staff
hosted by the Center for Addiction Recovery Support, MHAI SWD Training Institute, and the Indiana Recovery Network.

Join Shannon Carr (Austin Mental Health Community) and Darcy Kues (Addiction Research Institute) for part 2 of this engaging three-part virtual series designed to help peer recovery organizations diversify their funding sources and increase financial sustainability.

This live 90-minute session will give participants the opportunity to connect directly with the webinar presenters, ask questions, practice new skills, and gain practical insights for growing and sustaining their organizations.

Session 2: From Ideas to Action – Applying What You’ve Learned

Take a deeper dive into key strategies from the first two sessions. With hands-on guidance from the presenters, you’ll work on applying funding diversification principles to your own organization. This session will also cover how leaders can effectively promote their work to funders and partners.

As a prerequisite, participants are required to watch the pre-recorded webinar from the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health:

“Introduction to Diversifying Funding & Grant Writing for Peer-Run Organizations.”

This webinar lays the foundation for the live sessions by exploring key strategies in funding diversification and grant writing.

You will be required to be on camera, participate, and be available during training hours to receive an attendance certificate. This includes not driving, shopping, or other atmospheres that would not be considered similar to a classroom environment.

Registration information provided as part of this course may be used by MHAI for various purposes, including reporting to state agencies and other accreditation and/or funding sources.
