Building Connections: Addressing the Loneliness Epidemic

Our modern society is radically different from our evolutionary past. Humans have lived in tribes for milennia, and our disconnected society exacerbates problems such as depression and anxiety. Thankfully, there are willful and mindful acts we can take to make connections and thrive.

Loneliness is a public epidemic in the United States. This was the claim made by Surgeon General, Vivek McMurphy MD in Murthy in 2023. Research shows that loneliness is as deadly as smoking, diabetes and even cancer.

In this three hours CEU course, Joshua Molnar, LCSW-S will teach skills to diagnose not only clients but cultures and provide practical solutions. CEUs are available for psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists and licensed practical counselors.
