Event description

Description

This two day program includes the one day (first day) program called Do You Hear Me? How to Know You’re Heard. Cornell staff can register at culearn.cornell.edu for the one or two day versions. The general public can register here on eventbrite for the two day version (only) at a reduced fee.

A 2-day immersion in game-changing Collaborative Communication skills!

Every day at work, we depend on other people- to get ideas and projects budgeted and approved, to find solutions, and to move projects forward. But what do you do if you are at a standstill or loggerheads with someone not cooperating or responding- or even blocking your way? In this two day immersion, learn practical skills that will help you to immediately start resolving impasses and find new solutions. Learn how to break through blocks and foster mutual trust, respect, and goodwill, through four basic steps you can practice in many situations with colleagues, supervisors and clients–and even at home.

Past participants have commented that this program is:

  • “profound”
  • “…very useful for my relationships in the workplace,”
  • offering “tremendous insight ...and tools for separating out the many different things going on when two people try to communicate.”

Register for the two-day program by November 30th and receive a complimentary copy of the internationally loved book, Connecting across Differences, 2nd edition ($20 value).

Please note that this program is limited to 15 general public participants, so early registration is encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Less than two weeks, no refunds. Registration can be transferred to another person up to three days before the program start date for a $75 admin fee. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
