Panelist:
DyNishia Miller has over a decade of experience in the diversity and inclusion space within various sectors including higher education, international education, state government, non-profits, and healthcare. She is the Culture and Ethics Officer at Damien Center, but previously served as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer there for almost 4 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Master’s degree in International Relations both from the University of Indianapolis.
Katy McShane is committed to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She co-led her former company’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee in 2015/2016 and, in 2020, helped establish the Inclusion Advisory Council and several Employee Resource Groups. McShane currently serves on the CREAConnect Board, a team focused on internal DEI initiatives and external social impact through volunteerism. Her approach blends strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring that HR practices not only support our people but also strengthen our mission and values. She is passionate about creating workplaces where everyone can thrive.
Nathaniel A. Turner, JD, MALS, is a nationally recognized speaker, TEDx presenter, and author of six books, including Raising Supaman. Known as the Humanity Propulsion EngineerTM, Turner transforms inclusion from a corporate checkbox into a competitive advantage with measurable ROI. As co-founder of The League of Extraordinary Parents, he equips families, schools, and organizations to raise future-ready leaders with ‘Intellectual Ambition, Global & Cultural Competency, and Humanitarian Drive.’ An accountant and lawyer by training, with graduate education in theology and history, a serial entrepreneur and veteran owner of Iconoclast Financial Services, a financial services company, Turner uniquely connects inclusion to the bottom line, demonstrating the economic costs of exclusion and the business benefits of authentic diversity. He has long challenged mainstream approaches to DEI, offering bold, actionable strategies that convert differences into innovation, retention, and growth.
