Event Title: Building and Strengthening Relationships

Are you investing in the relationships that bring you the most joy and fulfillment? Are you building good relationships in the workplace to grow your business and create an encouraging work environment? In Robert Waldinger’s “The Good Life” after a 75-year study of adult development, he tells us that above diet, exercise, not smoking, money, etc…. what makes for a long life is happy and healthy relationships. Spend the morning with Alicia reflecting on the great relationships we have and the abundance of great relationships that we can continue to build.

About Alicia:

Alicia Tisdale is the owner of Moxy Salon in Franklin and has dedicated her 30-year career to establishing meaningful connections and caring for all who sit in her chair. Her mission is to inspire, encourage and build confidence in everyone she encounters through mind, body, and spirit. Alicia believes it's important to never stop growing. After obtaining her cosmetology and esthetics license from Empire Beauty School, she continued to study hair and makeup all over the US from well-known artists in the fashion Industry. Alicia's passion for singing led her to study Vocal Performance at Huntington University and she loves using her singing abilities to spread joy in any environment she encounters. Recognizing the value of personal growth and leadership, Alicia consistently engages in training opportunities to enhance her teaching skills and empower others to reach their full potential.

After living in Bloomington and then Indianapolis, Alicia finally landed back in her hometown of Franklin. Her dedication to her community is evident through her role as the former president of Franklin Heritage, where she worked diligently to preserve and promote the historical richness of her hometown, and her current role on the board of the Friends of the Johnson County Library. With a zest for life and adventure, Alicia finds joy and rejuvenation in exploring nature's wonders alongside her five children. Together, they embark on thrilling hikes, conquer majestic mountains, enjoy exhilarating skiing trips, and embark on journeys to discover new and breathtaking destinations and connections.
