About this event

Take this hands-on woodworking class and create your own military flag display case. This fits a standard 5 x 9.5' folded flag.

In the comfort of my climate-controlled home shop, you'll mill the wood and cut the angles necessary to build the display case. All materials are provided.

You will learn to use some power tools such as a band saw, router, and track saw.

I f you would like to upgrade your species of wood to mahogany, walnut, or cherry, there is an extra $15 charge. Otherwise, your board will be built out of birch plywood.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

I keep my shop at a comfortable temperature year-round, but you'll want to wear closed-toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Hair should be tied back, and no loose jewelry.

Where is the wood shop?

My shop is attached to my house in Brownsburg.

Can I request other dates?

Yes! If I have an opening I can do custom classes at certain times.
