Description

Introduce your students to exciting new opportunities in flight and coding! This hands-on workshop will begin with the assembly of a FTW Hopper drone. Once assembled, participants will learn basic flight terminology and safety before using a joystick, smartphone, or tablet to fly the drone. The remainder of the day will focus on an introduction to block coding to plan and execute a series of flights. Participants will also learn about the opportunity to borrow drones for classroom use.

What to Bring | A laptop or tablet, if possible.

Who Should Attend | General education teachers, special education teachers, assistive technology specialists, occupational therapists, and other STEAM-curious individuals!
