Topics covered include Accounting 101, an in-depth set-up and practical use of QuickBooks using the On-Line version, Marketing your Bookkeeping Business and New Business Operations including Best Practices (Electronic Client Forms) reference materials and advice.

This 4-Week Live Work Series presents on Saturday morning(Pacific standard time). This Fall Training Series begins Saturday, August 2nd. Each Session begins promptly at 8:00 am. The Workshop Series dates are as follows:

-Day 1: Saturday, August 2 - 8:00am -12:00pm

-Day 2: Saturday, August 9 - 8:00am -12:00pm

-Day 3: Saturday, August 16 - 8:00am -12:00pm

-Day 4: Saturday, August 23 - 8:00am -12:00pm

Live, Class Participation and mandatory At Home assignments will be required throughout the 4-Week Series. This Workshop is designed for anyone ready to embark on the fascinating world of Small Business Accounting. No pre-course work necessary. Must have access to reliable Internet and Phone service during the Live, On-Line course time.

You Control Your Career

This 4-Week Work Series is an innovative combination of live on-line class time, self-study and on-line support during and after the course. We will supply students with the confidence and knowledge to become a Professional Bookkeeper. Our certified instructors currently work in the field of Bookkeeping and Accounting and will supply firsthand knowledge to this course. Our curriculum is designed to demonstrate real-life business assignments, utilize the latest technology, present easy to learn accounting terminology and supply attendees with take-home practical reference materials.

The Accounting field continues to create flexible part and full-time employment opportunities as well as many freelance/small business options. A Bookkeeper has the ability to demand full-time employment including medical/dental benefits with wages starting in the $18 - $40 range on up to $125 an hour as a freelance Bookkeeper. Bookkeeper's who master the software programs that complement Accounting earn even more as Certified Consultants (i.e. QuickBooks ProAdvisors). Employment opportunities exist after completing this course as an Accounts Payables Clerk, Accounts Receivables Clerk, Bookkeeper, and Full-Charge Bookkeeper. Other employment choices include Tax Preparers, Business Plan Writers, Consultants and Payroll Technicians.
