We will examine the life and many, many contributions of the original founder of the old "O. F. C. Distillery" in Colonel Edmund Haines Taylor, Jr. we will sample 6 of 9 variations of the impressive line named after him. We will also discuss in detail the "Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897."

George T. Stagg was the next founder and proprietor of the distillery and we discuss his life and sample the two brands named after him.Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton was an employee of the distillery for over 50 years, we will look into his life and contributions to the Buffalo Trace legacy. Then we will sample all 4 brands that are named after him (only 1 is available in the United States). Finally we will look at one of the more recent Master Distillers in Elmer T. Lee who is a man that has been credited with re-invigorating the Bourbon industry in 1984. We will try both brands that were named after him.
