Please join BTPM Classical Live on Stage #27- as we present “Songs My Father Taught Me” Cabaret with Suzanne Fatta & Ivan Docenko on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 7PM presented by YOUR Buffalo & Erie County Public Library - Profoundly Public and the Cullen Foundation.
Join Buffalo’s favorite contralto, 𝑺𝒖𝒛𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒂, for an intimate, personal, funny, and joyful celebration of her recently departed father and Chair Emeritus of The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Dr. Angelo Fatta – a major WNY arts supporter. “Ange” was a trained singer and musician himself, and proudly supported Suzanne in all her professional music endeavors.
Enjoy an eclectic concert of his favorite jazz, cabaret, folk and musical theater songs with tunes made famous by Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Hartman, Leonard Cohen, Brian Williams, the Misty Miss Christy, Nino Rota, and other Italian film composers, classic musical theater chestnuts, and of course Francis Albert – lots of Sicilian touches. (SINATRA!)
Pianist Ivan Docenko has played for many Fatta family events including Ange’s funeral brunch, so it is an honor to have him by Suzanne’s side for this personal journey through her beloved father‘s record collection.
This event is free and includes a post-concert Q&A and light refreshments.
Doors open at 6:30pm
Free Parking is available in our parking lot located off of Charles Street
