Event Details

Curious about design thinking and how you can adapt it for your work? This creative methodology is a problem solving, idea generating, decision making mindset that is applicable and useful in all disciplines, not just the design field! After years of integrating the design thinking process into their daily work, TYTHEdesign has tailored a class focused on how design thinking theories translate across fields and sectors into real world, real work experiences.

Design thinking is a user-centered methodology that helps you to empathize with your clients or community, design for their needs, and experiment with solutions. In this two-hour class, TYTHE will share the tenets of design thinking and how they translate into your day-to-day work and interactions with your team. Using case studies, activities, and interactive modeling, this class will demystify design thinking and introduce adaptable strategies to drive innovation within your team, enhance services, and build connections with your community.

  • Tenets of design thinking and how it can be applied in your own work
  • A new process for generating new ideas and ways to efficiently brainstorm
  • How to build the capacity for user-centered empathy
  • Strategies and resources that can be easily customized to your work and community

  • Individuals from all professional or educational backgrounds interested in learning about the design thinking process
  • Managers looking for tools to activate collaboration within their teams
  • Early stage entrepreneurs or those considering starting a socially-minded venture
  • Professionals who have an idea for a project, organization or business that will drive social change
  • Individuals looking to add creative thinking methodology to their work

*Doors open at 6:45 PM, class starts at 7:00 PM sharp*
