About this event

Join us for an in-person training session where you’ll be walked through the essential features of Brompton Technology’s Tessera processing system and learn the workflows required to get your LED project off the ground. You’ll get to work hands-on with our processors and our latest software, guided by our experts, gaining practical, real-world experience setting up, configuring, and optimizing your LED Display.

Attendees who attend this class are encouraged to sign up for the Brompton Advanced class to build on the skills developed here.

Attendees will need to provide their own computers for this class. Please bring a laptop, which can be either Windows or Mac. You'll need to have admin rights to install software and change network settings, in addition to either an RJ45 (ethernet) port or a tried and tested dongle.

- Setting up and connecting to Processors and XDs
- Best practices in prep and QC
- Patching, Associating, and Mapping panels
- Using the panel OSD
- Managing firmware on processors and panels
- System Design Calculations
- Configuring different video inputs
- Seam and Colour Correction using OSCA
- Cable Redundancy

Time: Doors open at 9:00 am. We start at 9:30 am sharp and aim to wrap up around 5:00 pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Hotel: Pending availability,attendees may use Brompton’s corporate rate at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel, conveniently located 5 minutes (on foot) from baggage claim at the airport, and 10 minutes (on foot) from our office.

Important: You will need to bring a Mac or PC laptop with Ethernet and HDMI ports, and be able to install software.

Deposit: Securing your spot requires a refundable deposit of $100, which will be refunded fully after completing the training. The Eventbrite’s fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please do so at least 7 days before the session- otherwise, we may not be able to issue a refund.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a special computer?

PCs should to be running Windows 11 , Macs should be on MacOS12 or newer. Make sure that you have the necessary administrator privileges to be able to install software, and that you have (and know how to use) an ethernet adapter and an HDMI port.
