Broadway Dance Warm Up & Technique
A dynamic warm-up and technique-focused dance class taught in true Broadway style. Students work on: Proper alignment Musicality Strength and control Pick-up skills and choreography retention Storytelling through movement
Broadway Voice Warm Up, Technique & 16 Bars
Students begin with vocal warm-ups designed to strengthen support, placement, and stamina. Then each student receives coaching on a 16-bar cut they’ve prepared. Focus areas include: Breath control Tone quality Interpretation Acting the song Performance confidence Audition cuts that showcase the performer best Self-tape submission of your 16 bars is required in advance for preparation purposes only.
The Business Of Show: Headshots, Resumes, Q&A (Parents encouraged to attend)
Students learn the essential elements of being a professional performer: How to create a strong résumé What casting directors look for Headshot do’s and don’ts Agent and manager basics Professional etiquette How to walk into a room with confidence Navigating Broadway vs. Hollywood pathways Food may be eaten during this hour. Water is allowed throughout class. The training concludes with an open Q&A with Meredith, where students can ask anything about Broadway, film/TV, auditions, mindset, nerves, career paths, and more.
