BRITE: Finance 101 Series

BRITE: Finance 101 Series

By Howard County Economic Development Authority

Overview

A 3-part finance series that helps small business owners understand their numbers, protect their cash, and make stronger growth decisions.

If you’re a founder or small business owner, you’ve probably felt it:
The stress of inconsistent revenue.
The confusion around your numbers.
The fear of not knowing your runway or whether your business is truly profitable.

You’re working hard — but your finances feel like they’re running the show.
This series ends that.

The BRITE Core: Finance Series is a practical 3-part workshop designed to help you manage, protect, and leverage your finances with confidence. In plain language and with real examples, you’ll learn the key metrics, systems, and decision-making tools that every founder needs to build a financially stable, scalable business.

What You’ll Walk Away With

✔️ Clarity on your financial runway, margins, and burn rate
✔️ A simple dashboard you can use weekly to track the right numbers
