Meet our Speakers
Alex Einerson:
As Marketing & Communications Director at Visit Shreveport-Bossier, Alex leads a team of strong communicators with the goal of attracting visitors to the Shreveport-Bossier City region and promoting positive perceptions of the area. With a background primarily working for 501(c)3 organizations, Alex executed public relations and marketing efforts in the healthcare and economic development sectors before entering the world of travel and tourism. Through the years, she has worked on both sides of sponsorships and partnerships. She is a proud 2016 Ragin Cajun alum of the University of Louisiana, and passionate about volunteering in her community. When she isn't at a local event, you can catch her on the couch, cuddled up with her two dogs, Bella and Asher, and husband, Jake.
Matthew Hammock:
Matthew Hammock, a native of El Dorado, Arkansas took over the Sponsorship and Partnership Manager role in early 2019. He helps oversee sponsorships for the events that we host such as the CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally, USA Boxing National Championships, LHSAA State Wrestling Tournament, and many more.
Matthew graduated from LSU Shreveport in December of 2018 and is married to Jennifer Hammock. His passion resides in baseball, football, and going to the lake.
