Welcome to Brighter Futures Free Surf Sessions with Laneez Surf School! These sessions have been kindly sponsored by Carey Olsen and we are so grateful to them.

Please sign up to sessions on a first come first served basis. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like. If you sign up and are then unable to attend, please cancel your place so that someone else can benefit. These sessions are specifically for children supported by the Brighter Futures charity between 8 and 18 years old. It will provide an opportunity for them to try out surfing, learn some basic beach safety and have some fun.

Please note that these sessions are for ages 8 and above only! We cannot take any children below 8 years old in these group sessions. There are 16 places available for each session. You can book more than one ticket per booking. Please also note that a parent / caregiver must stay for the duration of the surf session and be responsible for the young surfer. Please notify the staff if the child has any medical concerns / allergies on arrival for the session. If possible, please make sure the surfer has sun screen and preferably apply it to the face before arriving at the surf school so that it has time to soak in before we head into the water. On cold days, surfers may need some warm clothes for after the session. Surfers can use their own wetsuits if they have them.

If we have to cancel the lesson, usually due to adverse weather conditions, we will notify you using the email address that you signed up to the event with and look to add additional sessions that you can then later book on to instead.

Surfboards and wetsuits will be provided for duration of the sessions. Please make sure surfers arrive with bathers on under their clothes if possible as changing room space is limited. Please also bring a towel and water. We sell light refreshments including hot chocs, tea & fresh bean coffee at our shop too.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to the session to give you a chance to change into your wetsuit. If you arrive late, we will try to accommodate but if the group has already gone down to the beach it may be that we will not be able to facilitate this. We have wetsuits of all sizes! These sessions will take place at our surf school located in Le Port Car Park at St. Ouen's beach. You can find us on google maps. There is free parking outside the shop.
