Training Description: Walk-In is excited to offer a training on Brief Intervention Therapy - the foundation of our mission and organizational approach. This interactive workshop will equip you with a foundational understanding of evidence-based skills to provide immediate, effective support to individuals and families in crisis. This training is based on evidence-based practices from SAMHSA, NCBI, and other leading research on brief intervention techniques.

Learning Objectives:

1.Understand principles of single-session Brief Intervention Therapy.

2.Explore tools for crisis de-escalation, including FRAMES Model and OARS.

3.Examine systems-level response to crisis as basis for Walk-In's Service Model.
