Organoid/Organ-on-a-chip Symposium
About this event
With the increasing demand for ‘replacing, refining, reducing animal models’ and rapid progress in the sophistication of biology and engineering, the capacity of organoids to generate complex 3D structures resembling organs in structure and function is transforming drug development. Over the last decade, organoids and organ-on-a-chip (OOC) are being progressively used in pathogenesis, disease modelling, regenerative medicine, and drug screening.
With the encouragement and guidance of FDA and EMA, organoid has become the focus of global attention, a number of companies with innovative technologies have emerged. This virtual symposium will bring together the organoid academia and industry communities to explore the wide variety of applications of this emerging cell culture technology and how it benefits human disease modeling and drug development.
