Overview

Join At Home in the North for this webinar in our Northern Housing series with Morgen Bertheussen!

Morgen Bertheussen is a PhD candidate at McGill University. Through her work, she explores ways in which cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary research partnerships contribute to identifying and addressing the social determinants of community health and well-being.

This webinar will introduce some of her ongoing research, aiming to spark a conversation about ways to bridge boundaries to support community health and well-being in a rapidly changing Arctic. Her talk will highlight three examples, including research activities conducted in partnership with the Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, youth research camps developed in collaboration with the Chignik Intertribal Coalition in southwestern Alaska, and a convergence research cruise exploring braided surveying methods.
