About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

This interactive class is designed for both coffee lovers and working baristas who want to build confidence in brewing and problem-solving. Whether you're just starting out or have been brewing coffee at home for a time, we’ll walk through the fundamentals together—no experience needed.

We start with a quick intro to the two main brewing styles: drip and immersion, you'll get to practice your own V60 Pour-over with the guidance of an instructor. We will also explore what makes up a coffee recipe and how each of those components can affect your brew.

From there, it’s all about brewing. You’ll watch a few brews first, then try them yourself—learning how to control variables like pour technique, time, and water temperature. Once you’ve brewed, we’ll dive into more specific concepts like strength and extraction and how they present themselves in your final brew.

This is a relaxed, practical space to ask questions, make mistakes, taste your way through different results, and walk away with real brewing skills you can apply on your own brews at home.
