The Fashion Business Society is proud to present the first event in our Breaking In: The Internship Series. A panel featuring UAL alumni and recruiters from leading organisations including Business of Fashion and Richemont.

This session is designed to give students a transparent, practical look into what it truly takes to secure an internship in the fashion and luxury sectors, as well as how to make the most out of your time at UAL. Our speakers will discuss the full journey: how to navigate competitive application cycles, what makes a CV and portfolio stand out, how to approach interviews with confidence, and the networking behaviours that make a lasting impression. You will also gain insights into industry expectations, common candidate mistakes, and current recruitment trends from those working directly in talent acquisition.
