Community Lunch & Discussion on How Immigration Policies Affect Latino Children
We invite you to join us for an important community conversation:
“Invisible Impact: How Anti-Immigrant Policies Affect the Minds and Futures of Latino Children”
This nonpartisan lunch and panel discussion will bring together educators, mental health professionals, community advocates, and families to explore how immigration laws and proposed legislation—regardless of political origin—are affecting the emotional health, educational stability, and overall well-being of Latino children in our communities.
Together, we will:
- Examine the mental health and academic effects of policy-driven fear and uncertainty
- Hear directly from those impacted, including students, parents, and professionals
- Share resources available to support families
- Discuss how these challenges affect our entire community, from schools to health care to the economy
Lunch will be provided, and bilingual materials will be available. We welcome attendees from all backgrounds and beliefs who care about the future of our children and want to be part of a compassionate, solutions-focused dialogue.
Please join us in this meaningful gathering. Your presence matters!
There is NO CHARGE but registration is required.
Lunch and Registration will open at 11AM.
Program starts at 11:30AM and we would like everyone seated and ready to go at that time.
