BreakfastInMotion: Behind the Code — Intelligence, Interaction & Innovation

By MotionLab.Berlin

Overview

Kickstart your morning at BreakfastinMotion—where startups, entrepreneurs, and creatives come together to connect, share, and grow.

At this edition of BreakfastInMotion, we dive into the minds of three founders who are building the future — where intelligence, interaction, and innovation intersect.
From next-generation AI architectures to immersive human–machine interfaces and cutting-edge hardware design, our speakers will take us behind the code to explore the engineering, creativity, and vision driving their work.

Join us for a morning of inspiring talks, live demos, coffee, bagels and open networking with the MotionLab.Berlin community.

Frederik Wegner – Founder, Cerepal.ai
Frederik and his team at Cerepal.ai are developing biologically inspired AI systems that rethink how machines learn and interact with the world. In his talk, Frederik will share insights into the company’s journey, the engineering challenges behind building intelligent architectures, and give us a glimpse into their live demo — a look at the future of adaptive cognition.

Nick Perillo – Founder - Augmentl Studio & Lead of Technology - Portals
Nick’s work explores the intersection of human experience and digital interaction. As the founder of Augmentl Studio, he develops augmented interfaces that make technology more intuitive and creative.
He will also share insights from Portals — an experimental project that blends physical and virtual environments to create shared, immersive spaces for connection and collaboration. Together, these projects illustrate how design and engineering can reshape the way we interact with technology — and each other.

Philipp Helldorfer –Founder of Helldorfer Engeneering
Philipp brings ideas from concept to reality through cutting-edge prototyping and product development. His approach bridges software intelligence with physical systems, transforming ideas into tangible solutions. He’ll take us inside his process of engineering innovation — where creativity meets precision — and share lessons learned from building in the real world.
